Abstract
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) merupakan kelompok penyakit kronis yang melibatkan peradangan pada saluran pencernaan, termasuk colitis ulseratif dan penyakit Crohn. Penyebab pasti IBD masih belum sepenuhnya dipahami, tetapi faktor-faktor genetik, lingkungan, dan imunologis diyakini memainkan peran dalam perkembangannya. Studi epidemiologi menunjukkan bahwa usia, jenis kelamin, pola makan, merokok, dan faktor hormonal dapat mempengaruhi risiko dan keparahan IBD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan usia, jenis kelamin, obesitas dan riwayat merokok dengan IBD. Design penelitian adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berupa 241 pasien terdiagnosa IBD (Colitis dan Chron’s Disease) yang dipilih dengan cara purposive sampling yang terdapat di unit Endoscopi RS X Jakarta Selatan. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah menggunakan lembar observasi dengan data rekam medik. Uji statistic menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil univariat didapatkan mayoritas responden berusia 26-35 Tahun (24,4%), Perempuan (74,7%), Obesitas (37,8%) dan tidak memiliki riwayat merokok (72.6%). Uji bivariat diperoleh terdapat hubungan signifikan antara jenis kelamin (0,010) dan obesitas dengan kejadian IBD (0,041), namun tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara usia (0,441) dan riwayat merokok dengan kejadian IBD (0,361). Hasi ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk intervensi edukasi kesehatan bagi perempuan dan obesitas untuk melakukan pemeriksaan endoskopi sedini mungkin bila terjadi keluhan
