Abstract

Latar Belakang Pasien hemodialisis dengan gagal ginjal kronis sering mengalami kelelahan, gangguan pernapasan, dan kualitas hidup yang rendah. Pernapasan bibir mengerut (PLB) dapat meningkatkan kinerja pernapasan dan kualitas hidup pada individu dengan penyakit ginjal kronis. Tujuan Menilai pengaruh PLB terhadap kualitas hidup pasien hemodialisis dengan penyakit ginjal kronis (PGK). Metode Penelitian ini melibatkan 60 pasien PGK di tiga rumah sakit daerah menggunakan desain uji coba terkontrol acak (RCT) dua kelompok paralel. Peserta dibagi secara acak menjadi kelompok kontrol (terapi standar) dan kelompok intervensi (PLB + terapi standar). Peneliti melaksanakan intervensi PLB secara terstruktur selama delapan minggu. Kualitas hidup peserta diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan instrumen Kidney Disease Quality of Life-36. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance dengan mempertimbangkan faktor perancu dan variabel dasar. Hasil Kelompok intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kualitas hidup (68,9 ± 10,2) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (57,2 ± 9,5; p < 0,001). Selain itu, kelompok intervensi mengalami perbaikan kualitas tidur, peningkatan kapasitas fungsional, serta penurunan kelelahan dan dispnea secara signifikan. Kesimpulan: Latihan PLB secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan mengurangi gejala pernapasan pada pasien PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis. Intervensi ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai bagian dari program rehabilitasi nonfarmakologis untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan pasien
